Product Information:
SofLens 38 are weekly disposable contact lenses manufactured by Bausch & Lomb. Bausch & Lomb's SofLens 38 contact lenses combine a high-performance, ultra-thin design with a time-tested lens material that provides crisp, clear vision, comfort, and dependable deposit-resistance. Easy-to-fit, low water content, spherical soft lenses are manufactured using the patented "Reverse Process III" or cast molding technology designed for daily or extended wear. SofLens 38's extremely low center thickness provides optimal oxygen transmission, while an increased mid-peripheral thickness results in easy handling.
SofLens 38 lenses are tinted for ease of handling and will not change the color of your eye. The tint is simply designed to facilitate locating the contact lenses in solution.
Note - SofLens 38 is the new name for the Optima FW Lens. The two lenses are identical outside of the new name and packaging.
Lens.com has been providing the exact same SofLens 38 (Optima FW) contacts as prescribed by your eye doctor since 1995. Take advantage of our discount prices and order your SofLens 38 (Optima FW) contact lenses today!

I have also worn these lenses for over 15 years. Every time the eye doc has tried to switch me to a higher water content lens that would supposedly be so much better for my eyes, I have ended up switching back to SofLens 38. I especially notice the deposit resistance and the length of time I am able to wear them comfortably. Taking them out at night is best and they typically last me a few months per pair.

I have worn these Bausch & Lomb Softlens 38 contact lenses for 15 years (since 12 years old!). They are extraordinarilly comfortable and 98% of the time you don't even know they are in your eyes. Yes, like any lenses, your eyes may get dry after wearing them 18 hours or you may tear a lens once a year but overall they are great, reliable, comfortable - and now a days the soft lens 38 contacts are very affordable too!

I had been wearing various high water content lenses for many years and recently my eyes were drying out and my lenses were very uncomfortable. Through research I learned that a lower H2O lens may help. I tried the Bausch and Lomb SofLens 38 contacts and they did the trick. Very comfortable and reasonably priced.
