Product Information

Biofinity® contact lenses (6 PK) by CooperVision bring you a remarkable balance of comfort and breathability in a monthly disposable lens. They’re also specially designed to deliver remarkable visual performance, whether you’re nearsighted or farsighted. If you demand exceptional quality, try Biofinity contact lenses.

Features & Benefits

Biofinity contact lenses are monthly disposable lenses that give you superior, reliable comfort from day 1 to 30, after which they must be removed, disposed of, and replaced with a fresh pair. They’re also FDA-approved for extended wear, meaning they can be worn continuously for up to 6 nights and 7 days before they need to be replaced.

These contacts feature CooperVision’s patented Aquaform® Technology, which locks in water so you can enjoy all-day comfort. They also have smooth, rounded edges, which enhance comfort by minimizing interaction between your contact lenses and your eyelids.

Aquaform Technology also allows plenty of oxygen to reach your eyes so that they stay moist and clear. Additionally, these contacts feature CooperVision’s unique Aberration Neutralizing System™, which helps enhance vision quality by minimizing optical imperfections in your eyes.

Facts & Stats About Biofinity That Make it a Top Choice Compared to Other Popular Contacts

  • Biofinity contacts feature an aspheric design, often giving wearers sharper vision than spheric lenses - only 21% of lenses sold on Lens.com have this design
  • Biofinity makes handling easy with handling tint - 83% of contacts for sale on Lens.com have visibility tinting

*stats are based on 151 of the most popular contacts on the market sold on Lens.com

Biofinity contacts are also made of a unique, water-loving lens material called comfilcon A. This material helps the lenses stay soft, moist, and deposit-resistant. As such, Biofinity contacts are ideal for contact lens wearers who often use rewetting drops to relieve irritation and dryness.

Who They’re For

Biofinity contacts are a great option for people who experience irritation or dryness during contact lens wear, as well as those who enjoy the convenience of a monthly disposable lens. These comfortable, non-drying contacts are also ideal for anyone looking to be less reliant on their rewetting drops.

Since Biofinity contacts come in different prescription strengths, they’re also suited for contact lens wearers who need vision correction due to nearsightedness or farsightedness.

Say goodbye to dry eyes with Biofinity lenses. When you’re ready to try them for yourself, be sure to check out the lowest prices on contact lenses at Lens.com.

How To Put In Biofinity contacts

Biofinity contacts are soft disposable contacts and as such, you should follow the standard procedure for that type of lens. Start by washing your hands with a mild soap, then dry them with a lint-free towel. Scoop your first lens out of the case with your index finger of your dominant hand. Rinse it with a cleaning solution that’s specially formulated for soft contacts. Inspect the lens for any tears or debris, and make sure it’s not inside-out. Using the middle finger of your dominant hand, pull down your lower eyelid. If necessary, use the middle finger of your non-dominant hand to pull your upper eyelid. Look upward and gently put the lens on your eye. Blink a few times to center the lens. Repeat this with the other lens. If Biofinity contacts are inserted properly, your vision should be clear and your eyes should feel comfortable all day.

Biofinity FAQs

Can you take a nap in Biofinity contacts?

Yes, you can nap in Biofinity lenses. As Biofinity is approved for overnight wear (a full night's sleep), napping in them for a short period of time is not a problem. As always though, make sure you're OK to do so with your ECP even if they are technically approved as every individual's situation is different. Whether sleeping overnight or napping with contacts, this is an environment that reduces the amount of oxygen that reaches your eye, hence the precautions you need to take in terms of choosing the right lens.

How are Biofinity contact lenses different from other contact lenses?
The key difference is Biofinity's Aquaform Technology which allows more oxygen to reach your eyes, ensuring a comfortable and healthy experience.

How many lenses are in a box of Biofinity contacts?

1 box of Biofinity lenses contains 6 lenses, a 6-month supply of contacts. 1 box, per eye, last you for a period of 6 month(s).

Where can I buy Biofinity contacts at the best price?

Biofinity contact lenses are available at the best price online, vs from a brick-and-motor store. When buying these contacts in-store or from a doctor's office, additional costs that come from higher overhead and lower volume of sales may play a part in having to pay more as a customer. On the other hand, online retailers benefit from lower costs and greater reach (greater sales volume, lower prices). At Lens.com Biofinity contacts can be purchased for $10.29, after rebates. These prices are designed to be some of the lowest prices you'll find anywhere, either in-store or online.

What is the difference between Biofinity Vs Biofinity Energys?
The main difference between Biofinity and Biofinity Energys is lens design. Digital Zone Optics, a lens design that reduces stress on the eye muscles used to focus on digital screens, is only available with Biofinity Energys contacts. Aside from lens design, Biofinity and Biofinity Energys are identical in terms of wearing and replacement schedules, parameters, and material.

What Biofinity rebates are available?

Biofinity contacts are regularly eligible for rebates exclusively on Lens.com. With Lens.com you can qualify for rebates with as few as an order of 4 and sometimes 8 boxes, unlike the 12 or more minimum purchase that's often required at other retailers. Refer to our regularly updated rebate pages or contact lens product pages to see how much the rebate amount is. Rebate offers change from time to time.

How do I claim my Biofinity rebate?

In order to redeem your Biofinity rebate, follow these 3 easy steps: log on to the Lens.com rebate center, print and mail your rebate form, track your rebate status, and get your prepaid Visa card in the mail.

How long does it take to adjust to wearing Biofinity contacts?

If you're wearing Biofinity for the first time, it can take several days to a couple of weeks for you to adjust to wearing them on a daily basis. Contacts vary from brand to brand in terms of their shape, material, breathability, wetting agents used, and other factors, thus requiring an adjustment period. Rigid/hard lenses can sometimes take longer to adjust to, whereas most contacts in use today employ a soft form of silicone that is typically easy to adjust to.

What if I don't have my prescription? Can I still order Biofinity contacts?

Size difference in circumference

After researching my last prescription, I noticed that the diameter of the lenses prior to these were larger than these. Many times during the day when I blink. I feel like I am going to lose the contact. I’m sure that I’m not it just feels that way. And because I never complain about anything, I haven’t tried to correct the issue.

Best contacts for me

Pros:
They fit.
They breathe.
They don’t irritate my eyes like most of their contacts do.
These don’t exacerbate my dry eye and take to supplementary drops well.
Cons:
1 lens out of every 6 (6 per pack) is torn or ripped upon opening, which is wasteful and annoying.
