I finally switched to RGPs after a couple of years of suffering through blurry vision with disposable contact lenses. I figured that I would be giving up comfort by switch to a gas permeable contact lens but I was dead wrong. The Hydro O2 is actually the most comfortable contact lens that I have ever worn. I have no more blurry vision and my eyes feel great.

I started wearing Hard (pmma) lenses back in 1982. I have been wearing RGP (Rigid Gas Permeable) Lenses since 1988. They were good and worked fine. Brands were Boston Lenses, Paraperm02, Paraperm EW, Boston IV, Then Daily wear soft lenses and then Night and Day Silicone Hydrogel lenses and finally these.. Hydro 2 RGP lenses.
I left the RGP lenses behind in favor of softlenses after the Boston IV lenses due to the same problems (Dry Eyes, and the hangover look). Stayed in Softlenses for 4 years... and never really liked my vision with them so found myself wearing glasses most of the time.
Well, Low and Behold... My eye doctor (New to me by recommendation from a friend) asked about contact lens use and I explained to her my past experience and she said "You loved the sight thru the lenses but couldn't tolerate them for long right?" I gave her the big Yep on that... then she suggested these lenses (Hydro 2) to me stating how other patients of hers had success with them after not being able to stay with the other brands. Well I am now "IN LOVE" with these new lenses. I have my 20/10 vision back that I used to have and it's crisp and clear and best of all NO DISCOMFORT, NO DRY EYES, AND NO HANG OVER LOOK.
These lenses get 10 out of 5 :). Give them a try if you have had problems with other lenses in the past or you don't like the fuzzy un-clear (not as sharp) vision thru soft lenses. HYDRO 2 WOO HOO!
