I didn't wear contacts until about 3 years ago. I love these soft lenses! I take them out daily to rinse and put right back in, but sometimes I can go 2-3 days just putting eye drops in and going on about my day. Not sure if that's the right thing to do but it works for me.

About 1-2 Week Disposable Contacts

One of the first things to consider if youíre looking to buy disposable contact lenses is which wearing schedule to choose. Itís important to note that you should always visit an eye care professional to determine which type of lens and wearing schedule will be best suited to your specific vision correction needs. Disposable contacts are available in several varieties: daily disposable, weekly disposable, and monthly disposable. Itís important to understand the differences between the different types of lenses because each type has its own advantages and disadvantages related to health, comfort, and convenience which can affect the overall lens wearing experience.

Weekly disposable contact lenses are designed to be worn each day for one to two weeks before being thrown away. This type of disposable contact lens is extremely popular. Theyíre also one of the most prescribed types of contact lens. Popular brands of weekly disposable soft contact lenses include the #1 selling brand Acuvue Oasys, as well as Avaira, and Biomedics XC. There are weekly disposable contact lenses available that are designed to treat a wide variety of different vision correction needs from nearsightedness to farsightedness, as well as astigmatism and presbyopia.

The advantages associated with weekly disposable contacts are many. In a sense, they bridge the gap between daily disposable lenses and monthly disposable lenses. While daily disposable lenses offer a fresh pair every day, which cuts down on needing to clean your lenses every night, they need to be replaced more often which is less convenient. Monthly disposable contact lenses donít need to be replaced nearly as often, but many experience discomfort as the wearing period goes on. Since weekly disposable contact lenses only need to be replaced every week or twice a month, they offer a more consistent level of freshness and comfort than monthly replaceable lenses without the inconvenience and cost of constantly replacing daily disposable lenses.

1-2 week disposable contact lenses, or contact lenses that need to be replaced on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, provide high levels of health, comfort, and convenience. These lenses are popular because they are designed to utilize a balanced approach to the issues related to contact lens wear. If youíre interested in such a balance, weekly disposable soft contact lenses are an important option to consider. Regardless of the type you choose, you can buy disposable contact lenses quickly and efficiently from Lens.com.

Since 1995, Lens.com has been proud to offer high quality contact lenses at discount prices. Choose from a variety of different weekly disposable contact lenses from Lens.com and enjoy hassle-free returns, quick shipping, and a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee.
