Plano contacts with a 0.00 power still need a prescription. Plano only means the lens doesn't correct nearsightedness or farsightedness. The size, curve, material, movement, and wearing schedule still need to suit your eyes.

We Verify Your Contact Lens Prescription

You can upload a copy of your prescription during checkout or enter your eye doctor's information so we can contact the office. Federal rules require us to have a prescription copy or complete the verification process before shipping contact lenses.

A complete verification request includes details such as the product or manufacturer, power, base curve, diameter, and quantity ordered. Your prescriber has eight business hours to confirm, correct, or reject the request. When the office doesn't respond during that period, the prescription is treated as verified under the Contact Lens Rule.

The verification process keeps your order connected to the exact lens prescribed for your eyes. Two products can have similar colors or patterns but use different dimensions or materials, so one can't automatically replace the other.

AutoRefill for Eligible Contacts

AutoRefill schedules future shipments for eligible contacts and adds a 5% discount to recurring orders. You select the delivery frequency during checkout and can snooze or cancel future shipments through your account. AutoRefill currently requires a credit card.

Existing contact lens wearers may qualify to renew an expired prescription through our online vision exam. The test can be completed on a computer or smartphone, and a board-certified ophthalmologist reviews the results before a prescription is issued.

The online exam is for eligible prescription renewals. It isn't a first-time fitting for novelty or scleral contacts, and it doesn't replace periodic in-person eye-health examinations. New contact lens wearers still need an eye doctor to measure the eyes, select the product, and examine how the lens fits.
