CooperVision Daily Contacts

How CooperVision Daily Contacts Support Fresh Wear and Vision Needs

What Are the Best CooperVision Daily Contacts for You?

The right CooperVision daily contacts depend on your prescription, fitting results, comfort pattern, handling preferences, and daily routine. Start by comparing best daily contact lenses only within the products and prescription types your eye doctor has fitted for your eyes.

MyDay Daily Contacts

The MyDay family may suit you when your prescription calls for a silicone hydrogel lens with Aquaform Technology. It includes spherical, toric, multifocal, and MyDay Energys options for different vision and lifestyle needs.

clariti 1 Day Contacts

The clariti 1 day family may suit you when your prescription matches a silicone hydrogel lens with WetLoc Technology and ultraviolet blocking. Spherical, toric, and multifocal versions are available, but the exact parameters must match each eye.

Proclear Daily Contacts

Proclear 1 day may be worth comparing when your eye doctor recommends a hydrogel lens with PC Technology. Proclear 1 day multifocal adds presbyopia correction for wearers who need near, intermediate, and distance vision support.

MyDay vs. Clariti 1 Day Contact Lenses

MyDay and clariti 1 day are CooperVision silicone hydrogel daily lens families, but they differ in material, moisture technology, dimensions, and product design.

Material and Moisture Technology

MyDay uses Stenfilcon A with 54% water and Aquaform Technology for natural wettability and oxygen flow. clariti 1 day uses Somofilcon A with 56% water and WetLoc Technology to distribute and retain moisture throughout the lens.

Prescription Options

Both families include spherical, toric, and multifocal products. MyDay also includes MyDay Energys, a spherical option with DigitalBoost Technology for digital-device demands.

UV and Product Fit

clariti 1 day products include ultraviolet blocking, while product-specific UV features should always be checked for the exact MyDay lens prescribed. Like other UV-blocking contact lenses, these lenses do not replace sunglasses because contacts do not cover the entire eye or surrounding skin. Neither family should be chosen without a fitting.

MyDay vs. Proclear 1 Day Contact Lenses

MyDay Daily Disposable is a silicone hydrogel lens with Aquaform Technology, while Proclear 1 day is a hydrogel lens with PC Technology. Both follow a daily replacement schedule, but they use different approaches to moisture, oxygen transmission, handling, and fit.

MyDay allows higher oxygen flow through its silicone hydrogel material and is part of a family that includes toric and multifocal daily options. Proclear 1 day uses moisture-binding PC Technology, while Proclear 1 day multifocal provides a hydrogel daily option for presbyopia.

Before ordering, use the exact product listed on your prescription rather than choosing by technology or water percentage alone. Eye doctor-directed trial wear can help compare lens movement, centering, vision, surface wetness, and comfort before you order a larger supply.

Which CooperVision Daily Contacts Are Silicone Hydrogel?

CooperVision offers two main families within its daily silicone hydrogel contact lenses:

  • MyDay Daily Disposable: A spherical Stenfilcon A lens with 54% water and Aquaform Technology.
  • MyDay Daily Disposable Toric and Multifocal: Daily silicone hydrogel versions for astigmatism or presbyopia.
  • MyDay Energys: A spherical silicone hydrogel daily lens with Aquaform and DigitalBoost technologies.
  • clariti 1 day: A Somofilcon A lens with 56% water, WetLoc Technology, and ultraviolet blocking.
  • clariti 1 day toric and multifocal: Silicone hydrogel daily options for astigmatism or presbyopia.

Proclear 1 day and Proclear 1 day multifocal are hydrogel rather than silicone hydrogel products. The prescribed fit and your wearing response matter more than choosing by material category alone.

Which CooperVision Daily Contacts Are Available for Astigmatism?

CooperVision toric daily contact lenses must match your complete astigmatism prescription and remain properly positioned during wear.

1. Compare the Daily Toric Options

MyDay Daily Disposable Toric and clariti 1 day toric are the main CooperVision daily astigmatism options listed by Lens.com. They use different silicone hydrogel materials and toric designs, so they are not interchangeable.

2. Match Every Toric Value

Confirm the exact lens name, sphere, cylinder, axis, base curve, and diameter for each eye. A spherical MyDay, clariti, or Proclear lens cannot replace a prescribed toric contact.

3. Check Vision Stability

Tell your eye doctor if vision shifts, blurs, or improves temporarily after blinking. These symptoms may indicate lens movement or rotation that should be checked before you reorder.

Which CooperVision Daily Multifocal Contacts Are Available?

CooperVision offers daily multifocal contacts in its MyDay, clariti, and Proclear families.

MyDay Daily Disposable Multifocal

MyDay Multifocal uses Stenfilcon A silicone hydrogel with Aquaform Technology. It is designed for wearers with presbyopia who need near, intermediate, and distance correction in a daily lens.

clariti 1 Day Multifocal

clariti 1 day multifocal uses Somofilcon A silicone hydrogel with WetLoc Technology and ultraviolet blocking. Its multifocal design and add-power system must match the exact prescription provided by your eye doctor.

Proclear 1 Day Multifocal

Proclear 1 day multifocal uses a hydrogel material with PC Technology and a center-near multifocal design. It may be compared when your eye doctor wants a daily hydrogel option for presbyopia and lens-related dryness concerns.

Which CooperVision Daily Contacts Suit Dry or Sensitive Eyes?

A daily replacement schedule may help some wearers comparing contact lenses when dryness affects wear because each wearing day starts with a fresh pair rather than a lens that has accumulated deposits from previous use.

May be a good match if:

  • Your reusable contacts become less comfortable near the end of their replacement period.
  • Your eye doctor wants you to compare Aquaform, WetLoc, or PC Technology.
  • You prefer a fresh pair without overnight cleaning, storage, or case exposure.
  • Proclear PC Technology has been prescribed for lens-related dryness concerns.
  • Trial wear remains comfortable through the wearing time approved for your eyes.

Recheck before ordering if:

  • Your dryness continues soon after inserting a fresh lens.
  • You are choosing a product only because it is marketed for comfort.
  • You want to change from hydrogel to silicone hydrogel without a new fitting.
  • You experience pain, strong redness, discharge, light sensitivity, or sudden blur.
  • Allergies, medication, screen habits, or dry eye disease may be contributing to your symptoms.

How Long Can You Wear CooperVision Daily Contacts?

Wear CooperVision daily contacts only for the number of hours approved by your eye doctor. Like other daily-wear contact lenses, their one-day replacement schedule does not mean they can be worn for an unlimited number of hours. Your safe and comfortable wearing period depends on the exact product, fit, tear film, environment, eye health, and response during trial wear. Remove the lenses sooner if they become dry, painful, unstable, or difficult to see through.

CooperVision daily contacts do not need a cleaning solution or overnight storage because each pair is discarded after removal. Do not sleep or nap in them unless the exact product has been prescribed for another approved wearing schedule. Never rinse daily contacts with water or place them in a case for later use. Open a sealed, fresh pair the next time you wear contacts.

Do CooperVision Daily Contacts Need Contact Lens Solution?

No, true CooperVision single-use contact lenses do not need cleaning solution or overnight storage. Open a sealed pair for each wearing day and discard the lenses after removal. Do not rinse them, place them in a lens case, or save them for another day. Contact lens solution is needed only when you wear a reusable product that your eye doctor has prescribed for cleaning and storage.

Clariti 1-Day

Game Changer

I am a 61-year-old woman who's been wearing contact lenses for decades and finding it harder and harder to wear them for a full day without a lot of discomfort and constant rewetting. I was also waking up with super red eyes. The Clariti 1-day lenses, recommended by my optometrist, have been a game changer. I needed a few days to adjust to them but, after that, I have been able to wear them comfortably for a full day (for me, that's typically 7 a.m.-7 p.m., sometimes longer) with little need for rewetting drops. Daily lenses are more expensive but, for me, well worth it as someone who doesn't like wearing glasses all day or for work.
