Product Information

A splash of moisture meets supreme visual acuity in Polyflex 55 contact lenses manufactured by Ocular Sciences. These lenses offer an inexpensive store brand alternative to the well-known and trusted brands Biomedics 55 and Ultraflex 55, featuring a structurally identical composition. Just like their name brand counterparts, Polyflex 55 lenses are specially designed to control spherical aberration. This is accomplished by assisting the eyes in properly focusing light for a crisper, clearer view for a variety of vision needs.

The lenses feature a thinner, patented edge design that facilitates a more natural fit over the eyes. This construction also eliminates interaction between the lenses and your eyelids for irritation-free wear from insertion to removal. Polyflex 55 contact lenses are named for the 55 percent water content that makes up part of its construction, which keeps eyes hydrated throughout wear with no eye drops necessary.

The remaining portion of the lenses is composed of a unique polymer material called ocufilcon D, which quickly adapts to the shape of your eyes for a stable fit that stays in place all day. A 1-2 week replacement schedule brings heightened convenience to your lifestyle and eliminates the likelihood of debris and deposit build-up.

What is a Flexible Spending Account?

A Flexible Spending Account is a fund which allows you to pay for eligible medical expenses with pre-tax money. Doctor office co-pays, bandages, contact lenses, contact lens solution, etc. are eligible expenses. Many employers include the option of a Flexible Spending Account with their benefit package.

Use it or lose it!

Flexible Spending money must be used by a specific date set by your provider.* If the funds are not used by this specified date, all remaining money is lost.

Here are some tips to make sure this doesn't happen to you:

  • Talk to your company or provider about enrollment and expiration dates.
  • Track your exact balance throughout the year.
  • Don't wait until the last minute. Last minute purchases run the risk that they will not be eligible for reimbursement.
