Product Information

Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contact lenses (90 pack) feature Precision Profile® Design, an industry-leading design that seamlessly blends a range of prescription strengths for crisp, clear vision at any distance. These lenses also feature Blink-Activated Moisture technology, which releases refreshing bursts of comfort with each blink.

Features & Benefits

Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal are daily disposable contacts that are specifically designed to address presbyopia — an age-related eye condition that makes nearby objects appear blurry. These contacts can be worn for 14-16 hours, after which they should be disposed of and replaced with a fresh set of contacts.

The only brand to offer Blink-Activated Moisture technology, Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal also provide refreshing comfort from the moment you put them in, to the moment you throw them away at the end of the day.

Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts are also very comfortable because they’re made of a hydrogel material known as nelfilcon A. This lens material has a high water content (69%), which allows more oxygen to pass through the lens. This helps keep the eyes healthy, moist, and comfortable throughout the day.

Who They’re For

Presbyopia is an age-related condition marked by the inability of the eyes to properly focus on objects up close. Reading glasses and bifocals were made to help people deal with this condition, but neither of those options are ideal for those who prefer the convenience of daily disposable contacts.

Fortunately, some contact lens manufacturers have expanded their product lines to include a daily disposable contact lens option specifically designed to address presbyopia. Alcon, the global leader in eye care, has one such option in their Dailies AquaComfort Plus line of contact lenses.

Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts feature a full range of prescription strengths to help people with presbyopia see clearly up close, far away, and everywhere in between. Plus, they’re an incredibly comfortable alternative to bulky reading glasses and bifocals.

About Presbyopia

Presbyopia occurs when the lens of the eye begins to harden and lose flexibility as a result of aging. Due to the eye's inability to properly focus, objects appear blurry. People most often begin to notice this shift in their vision sometime around the age of 40. From then until about the age of 65, presbyopia will gradually get worse. Those who think they are exempt due to the fact that they have always had perfect eyesight are likely still out of luck, as presbyopia eventually catches up with practically everyone. When presbyopia shows up, you may notice an inability to focus on reading material up close. Others may experience headaches or eye strain while looking at nearby objects.

Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal FAQs

What are the key features and benefits of Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal lenses?
Thanks to Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal's Precision Profile® Design, these lenses provide clear vision at all distances. Their Blink-Activated Moisture technology releases moisture with every blink, keeping eyes hydrated and comfortable throughout the day.

Where can I buy Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts at the best price?

Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contact lenses are available at the best price online, vs from a brick-and-motor store. When buying these contacts in-store or from a doctor's office, additional costs that come from higher overhead and lower volume of sales may play a part in having to pay more as a customer. On the other hand, online retailers benefit from lower costs and greater reach (greater sales volume, lower prices). At Lens.com Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts can be purchased for $47.24, after rebates. These prices are designed to be some of the lowest prices you'll find anywhere, either in-store or online.

Can you take a nap in Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts?

No, you cannot nap in Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal lenses. As Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal are not approved for overnight wear (a full night's sleep), napping in them for a short period of time is not advisable either, and it can lead to eye-health complications. Napping for any length of time with contacts not designed for such an environment is risky. Choose a lens that is approved for overnight wear and seek guidance from your ECP if this is a requirement for you.

How many boxes of Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal do I need to buy to last 6 months, or 12 months?

You need 2 box(es) of Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts to last you for 6 months. In order to last you for 12 months, you'll need 4 box(es). These amounts pertain to a single eye, so to cover both eyes, double these amounts.

Does Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal have rebates?

Typically yes, Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts offers rebate savings through Lens.com. In order to redeem rebates, the quantity you purchased should reach the specified requirement. Rebate offers can change from time to time so be sure to check to see which rebates are being offered. The bottom line is, whatever the rebate amount, our prices are designed to be extremely competitive to everyone else, online or in-store.

How long does it take to adjust to wearing Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts?

If you're wearing Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal for the first time, it can take several days to a couple of weeks for you to adjust to wearing them on a daily basis. Contacts vary from brand to brand in terms of their shape, material, breathability, wetting agents used, and other factors, thus requiring an adjustment period. Rigid/hard lenses can sometimes take longer to adjust to, whereas most contacts in use today employ a soft form of silicone that is typically easy to adjust to.

How long does it take to get my Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal rebate?

After submitting your Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal rebate forms you can check the status of your rebate by going to Rebate Center. Please allow up to 12 weeks to receive your Lens.com Visa Prepaid Card.

What if I don't have my prescription? Can I still order Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts?

Yes, you can still order Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal if you don't have a hard copy of your RX/prescription on hand. As long as you have a valid contact lens prescription (which will be on file at your ECP's) you can still place an order with us at Lens.com. Choose your lens, provide us with the contact info of your ECP and we'll do the rest. If your ECP is unable to respond to our request for the info needed in a timely manner, your lenses will automatically be shipped out to you. Can I use my eyeglass prescription for Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contact lenses?

Unfortunately no, you can't use your eyeglass prescription for Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal lenses. Your eyeglass prescription only has the power part of the contact lens prescription. In addition to the power, the proper base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) are needed to order contact lenses. Contact lenses come in different sizes and must be fit to your eye by an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. As a replacement center, we can only sell you contact lenses that you are already wearing successfully. So ultimately eyeglass prescriptions are not the same as a prescription for Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts. See an ECP/optometrist if you're looking for a contact lens prescription and fitting as a first-time-wearer.

How should I store my Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contact lenses?

Daily disposable contacts cannot be stored and must be discarded at the end of each day. Even if you wear them for only a few hours one day, you still need to discard them after that use and wear a fresh pair of contacts the next day.

You may keep weekly contacts in multi-purpose contact solution in a tightly closed contact lens case for up to 2 weeks.

For monthly replacement lenses you may store them in contact solution in a tightly closed contact lens case for up to 30 days.

Dailies AquaComfort Plus Multifocal contacts have a water content of 69%. The higher the water content in a contact lens, the more oxygen reaches the cornea during lens wear. There are other factors at play however so water content alone isn't enough of a factor to judge a lens' performance for a given person. Consult your ECP to find out the best options for you.

Silicone hydrogel is a more breathable material than hydrogel, however many wearers prefer hydrogel for what they perceive to be a higher level of comfort. Both contacts utilize wetting agents embedded in the contact lens material itself to ward off dry eyes. Both are popular, highly rated premium daily disposable contacts and it boils down to lens material preferences and what your ECP deems is best for your situation.

Super Hydrated/Super Comfortable

Tried several brands and these remain hydrated and super comfortable throughout the day. Extremely thin and crisp clarity! Because they are so thin - a little difficult to insert in the eye as they have almost no structure and are extremely pliable and lubricated. After a week - I eventually got the hang of how to get these in without difficulty.

Dailies are the WAY TO GO!

I like that these are use and throw - less chance of infections or disease transmission. I never buy saline solution anymore, where I use to spend quite a bit on that in year when using the monthly contact. They are worth the extra cost IMO.
