Focus Dailies are made with Lightstream Technology, which ensures that the lenses provide sharp vision, even in low light conditions. This technology also helps minimize the effect of halos and glares that could otherwise affect sensitive eyes.

On top of that, Focus Dailies feature AquaRelease™ technology, which releases a special moisturizing agent every time you blink for all-day comfort. Focus Dailies are also exceptionally comfortable because they’re made of nelfilcon A — a high-quality hydrogel lens material with a high water content (69%). With Focus Dailies, you don't have to rely on rewetting drops to keep your contacts moist throughout the day.

Who They’re For

Focus Dailies contacts are ideal for people who prefer the convenience of a daily disposable lens. They're also ideal for busy professionals or anyone with an active lifestyle who may not enjoy the hassle of a lens care routine.

Focus Dailies contacts are also particularly suited for people with allergies. That’s because daily disposable contacts, like Focus Dailies, are less prone to deposit buildup.

Because Focus Dailies stay moist all day, they're also a great option for first-time lens wearers looking for long-lasting comfort in a daily disposable lens.

Enjoy comfort that only comes with daily disposable lenses when you buy Focus Dailies from Lens.com.

How To Put In Focus Dailies

Focus Dailies are soft disposable contacts and as such, you should follow the standard procedure for that type of lens. Start by washing your hands with a mild soap, then dry them with a lint-free towel. Scoop your first lens out of the case with your index finger of your dominant hand. Rinse it with a cleaning solution that’s specially formulated for soft contacts. Inspect the lens for any tears or debris, and make sure it’s not inside-out. Using the middle finger of your dominant hand, pull down your lower eyelid. If necessary, use the middle finger of your non-dominant hand to pull your upper eyelid. Look upward and gently put the lens on your eye. Blink a few times to center the lens. Repeat this with the other lens. If Focus Dailies are inserted properly, your vision should be clear and your eyes should feel comfortable all day.

Please note that Focus Dailies have NOT been discontinued by CIBA VISION (now under Alcon). Stock up now while supplies last. Alternatively, talk to your eye care professional about trying other daily disposables from Alcon, like Dailies Total1® and Dailies® AquaComfort Plus®.

Focus Dailies FAQs

How many boxes of Focus Dailies do I need to buy to last 6 months, or 12 months?

You need 2 box(es) of Focus Dailies contacts to last you for 6 months. In order to last you for 12 months, you'll need 4 box(es). These amounts pertain to a single eye, so to cover both eyes, double these amounts.

Can you take a nap in Focus Dailies contacts?

No, you cannot nap in Focus Dailies lenses. As Focus Dailies are not approved for overnight wear (a full night's sleep), napping in them for a short period of time is not advisable either, and it can lead to eye-health complications. Napping for any length of time with contacts not designed for such an environment is risky. Choose a lens that is approved for overnight wear and seek guidance from your ECP if this is a requirement for you.

Where can I buy Focus Dailies contacts at the best price?

Focus Dailies contact lenses are available at the best price online, vs from a brick-and-motor store. When buying these contacts in-store or from a doctor's office, additional costs that come from higher overhead and lower volume of sales may play a part in having to pay more as a customer. On the other hand, online retailers benefit from lower costs and greater reach (greater sales volume, lower prices). At Lens.com Focus Dailies contacts can be purchased for $25.99, after rebates. These prices are designed to be some of the lowest prices you'll find anywhere, either in-store or online.

What if I don't have my prescription? Can I still order Focus Dailies contacts?

Yes, you can still order Focus Dailies if you don't have a hard copy of your RX/prescription on hand. As long as you have a valid contact lens prescription (which will be on file at your ECP's) you can still place an order with us at Lens.com. Choose your lens, provide us with the contact info of your ECP and we'll do the rest. If your ECP is unable to respond to our request for the info needed in a timely manner, your lenses will automatically be shipped out to you. This is the process put in place by the FTC to ensure your rights as a consumer.

Is ordering Focus Dailies contact lenses online safe?

Yes, all contact lenses, including Focus Dailies ordered from Lens.com are FDA-approved, genuine lenses manufactured by top contact lens brands such as Bausch + Lomb and Alcon, and backed by a money-back guarantee. Order and fulfillment processes adhere to mandates set by US federal law, including the requirement to verify valid prescriptions, without exception. We go above and beyond, by making the experience efficient, easy, and pleasant with 24/7/365 customer service and a money-back guarantee.

How do I claim my Focus Dailies rebate?

In order to redeem your Focus Dailies rebate, follow these 3 easy steps: log on to the Lens.com rebate center, print and mail your rebate form, track your rebate status, and get your prepaid Visa card in the mail.

Can I use my eyeglass prescription for Focus Dailies contact lenses?

Unfortunately no, you can't use your eyeglass prescription for Focus Dailies lenses. Your eyeglass prescription only has the power part of the contact lens prescription. In addition to the power, the proper base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) are needed to order contact lenses. Contact lenses come in different sizes and must be fit to your eye by an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. As a replacement center, we can only sell you contact lenses that you are already wearing successfully. So ultimately eyeglass prescriptions are not the same as a prescription for Focus Dailies contacts. See an ECP/optometrist if you're looking for a contact lens prescription and fitting as a first-time-wearer.

How do I get my Focus Dailies rebate?

To get a Focus Dailies rebate, make a qualifying purchase from Lens.com. After your order ships, access the Rebate Center to print your contact lens rebate form(s). The mailing address is on the rebate form.

How long does it take to adjust to wearing Focus Dailies contacts?

If you're wearing Focus Dailies for the first time, it can take several days to a couple of weeks for you to adjust to wearing them on a daily basis. Contacts vary from brand to brand in terms of their shape, material, breathability, wetting agents used, and other factors, thus requiring an adjustment period. Rigid/hard lenses can sometimes take longer to adjust to, whereas most contacts in use today employ a soft form of silicone that is typically easy to adjust to.

Are Focus Dailies contacts tinted (aka 'handling tint), for improved visibility?

Yes, Focus Dailies lenses include a light tint to make cleaning (when used with solution), handling, and inserting them easier.

How do I buy Focus Dailies contacts online?

To buy Focus Dailies contacts online, you'll need a credit card, the quantity you want to order, and the name of your eye doctor. That's the bare bones. We can contact your eye doctor to confirm your prescription on your behalf. If you have a physical copy of your prescription, great, then we won't need to contact your eye doctor. it's very simple, and if you have any difficulties, our friendly Customer Service Representatives are here to help. These steps are based on rules laid out by federal policy to protect consumer rights and we take full advantage of them to ensure an easy and timely experience for you.

Are Focus Dailies contacts, daily?

Yes, Focus Dailies contacts are daily disposable contacts. This means they should only be worn for one day, after which they should be disposed of and replaced with a fresh set. How old do you have to be to wear Focus Dailies contact lenses?

Like most contacts, including Focus Dailies, they can be worn by teens and potentially pre-teens as well, per the direction of an ECP. In general, there is no fixed minimum age for wearing contacts, as it's a judgment call based on lifestyle habits, budget, and of course your ECP's guidance. Contacts do require care and consistency in usage and maintenance/cleaning and these are the lifestyle factors you should consider when thinking about contacts for a child.

How do I read my Focus Dailies prescription?

Of course, this service is only available in the 37 states which are not under the thumb of the American Optometric Association. Check here to see if you live in a privileged state.

Can Focus Dailies contacts expire?

Like all contact lenses, Focus Dailies lenses do expire. The expiration date will be stamped on the box itself or on the aluminum fold of the blister pack in either a YYYY-MM or YYYY-MM-DD format. Typically, the expiration date for contacts is several years after the date of packaging.

Does Focus Dailies contacts have an inside-out mark?

Focus Dailies contacts are indicated as Yes to having an inside-out mark. Generally, if there is a marking, to view it, place the lens on your fingertip. Hold it up to bright light and look at the outside surface of the lens from the side. If it does not have such a marking, there are other methods to judge if your lens is positioned inside or out. Click here to read more.

Can I be allergic to Focus Dailies contacts?

Contacts, like Focus Dailies are made of hypoallergenic materials, meaning the contacts themselves don't usually cause an allergic reaction. In most cases, what causes an allergic reaction is a buildup of contaminants on the contacts. If you experience redness, watering, and other symptoms of a possible allergic reaction, remove your contacts immediately and consult your ECP.

Where can I buy Focus Dailies contacts near me?

Focus Dailies contacts are typically available to purchase at your nearest brick-and-mortar eyewear store or ECP's office. However, the lowest prices and largest inventory of these lenses can be found online, such as at Lens.com, where greater volumes and lower overhead can translate into significant savings over store-bought contacts.

How should I store my Focus Dailies contact lenses?

Daily disposable contacts cannot be stored and must be discarded at the end of each day. Even if you wear them for only a few hours one day, you still need to discard them after that use and wear a fresh pair of contacts the next day.

You may keep weekly contacts in multi-purpose contact solution in a tightly closed contact lens case for up to 2 weeks.

For monthly replacement lenses you may store them in contact solution in a tightly closed contact lens case for up to 30 days.

What are Focus Dailies contacts?

Focus Dailies are Daily Disposable contact lenses. They are made of Hydrogel and are manufactured by Alcon.

Do Focus Dailies lenses have UV protection?

No, Focus Dailies contacts do not have UV protection. If you are looking for contacts with this feature, check out other lenses sold on Lens.com where the feature is specifically provided on each product page.

What is the water content of Focus Dailies?

Focus Dailies contacts have a water content of 69%. The higher the water content in a contact lens, the more oxygen reaches the cornea during lens wear. There are other factors at play however so water content alone isn't enough of a factor to judge a lens' performance for a given person. High water content lenses can feel comfortable initially but may dry out over time, but this is not always the case. So it's good to know about the water content of a lens, but it's not everything. Consult your ECP to find out the best options for you.

Does Focus Dailies have rebates?

Typically yes, Focus Dailies contacts offers rebate savings through Lens.com. In order to redeem rebates, the quantity you purchased should reach the specified requirement. Rebate offers can change from time to time so be sure to check to see which rebates are being offered. The bottom line is, whatever the rebate amount, our prices are designed to be extremely competitive to everyone else, online or in-store.

Who makes Focus Dailies contacts?

Focus Dailies contacts are made by Alcon, and sold on Lens.com.

Do I need a prescription, or a copy of my prescription in order to buy Focus Dailies?

Yes, you do require a valid prescription in order to buy Focus Dailies or any contacts in the United States, per Federal Law. However, at Lens.com having a copy of your prescription in your possession is not required to place an order (though be aware it's something that is owed to you by your ECP once you complete an eye examination so that you can choose where to purchase your contacts). If you don't have a copy in your possession, Lens.com representatives will help verifying your prescription by calling your ECP for you. Provide us with the basic information, sit back, and relax.

Is Focus Dailies discontinued?

No, Focus Dailies contacts have not been discontinued by Alcon. They continue to be produced, marketed, and sold on Lens.com. Typically, if a contact lens ceases to be produced by the manufacturer, we will indicate it clearly on our product page as being a discontinued lens and it won't be an option to purchase them.

Who are Focus Dailies ideal for?

Focus Dailies are ideal for wearers looking for the convenience of daily disposables, and these can include professionals on the go, 1st-time contact lens wearers, and individuals who don't wish to commit to proper cleaning and storing of monthly contacts.

What are the benefits of Focus Dailies?

As a daily disposable lens, you don't have to worry about cleaning and storing Dailies. You'll have a comfortable wearing experience free of deposits because you're using a fresh set each day. To further ensure comfort throughout the day, Dailies feature a blink-activated release of a moisturizing agent, freeing you of the need for moisturizing drops during the day. Dailies are made by Alcon which are leaders in vision correction technology.

What is the difference between Focus Dailies and AquaComfort plus?

These are two very similar contacts, with the former from Ciba Vision and the latter made by Alcon. Both contacts are dailies, feature the same formulation of hydrogel, and have comparable oxygen permeability and water content. There are some small differences in wetting agents that are built-in to the lenses and in their available parameters. But by and large these are very similar contacts. It's not to say these will wear and perform the same for a given person, so guidance from an ECP will help determine which is best for your situation.

Are dailies or monthlies better?

First-time contact lens wearers can benefit from the ease of use of dailies. Younger or less careful individuals may also be more likely to rip or tear lenses, Having plenty of spares around is a good thing. Monthly lenses however can be worn in extended wear mode (those approved to do so), whereas this is not an option with daily disposable lenses. So there is a convenience factor for dailies and a hygiene advantage for monthlies (less instances of removal/insertion of contacts). Monthly lenses can sometimes offer a cost benefit over dailies, but there are dailies that can be more cost effective than monthly lenses, so price does not always provide a clear advantage for one type over the other. There are monthly lenses (the majority of the market) that do need to be removed at night, cleaned and stored properly. Those monthlies may not provide a convenience advantage for individuals who don't prefer that routine or can't commit to doing it properly.

As far as performance, both types have benefited from advancements in materials, and have levels of breathability and moisture retention that promote comfort effectively. Differences in lifestyle and personal preference are may what dictate your choice, and of course a little guidance from your ECP.

Can I sleep in Focus Dailies contact lenses?

No. Focus DAILIES contact lenses are daily disposable contact lenses, which means they are not FDA-approved for overnight or extended wear. When wearing daily disposable contact lenses, you remove and dispose of them at the end of your day before going to sleep.

Can I wear Focus Dailies contact lenses if I have astigmatism?
No, Focus Dailies do not correct astigmatism. If you have astigmatism, you will require toric contact lenses recommended by your eye doctor.

Very disappointed they are discontinued

I just found out that Focus Dailies are discontinued. I have tried other lenses, but nothing feels as comfortable as the Focus Dailies. I'm glad lens.com has them but also know they won't forever.

The Only Contacts I Ever Want To Wear

I've been wearing Focus Dailies since 1995 and they are irreplaceable!! I'm so thrilled Alcon has taken over manufacturing this wonderful product from CIBA. They are comfortable and I can wear them 18 hours no problem or dryness. Thank you, Alcon!

Great Contacts, but being Discontinued

These are great and have been my go to contacts for years. But I was informed by my eye Dr. that they are being discontinued by Alcon. So I bought as many as I could this time as this may be the last time I can find them.
