What Is Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis?
Seasonal allergic conjunctivitis is inflammation of the conjunctiva triggered by airborne allergens that appear during certain seasons, most often pollen. It is one of the most common types of eye allergy and often happens alongside allergic rhinitis. Symptoms can affect both eyes and tend to flare when allergen levels rise outdoors. The condition is uncomfortable but usually does not threaten vision when treated properly.
