How Is Lens Frame Alignment Checked At An Optical Shop?
A shop usually checks that the frame sits level, then confirms pupil measurements and fitting height match the finished lenses. Next, a lensmeter check can confirm power, cylinder axis, and prism are within tolerance. For progressives, the fitting cross and reference markings are checked to confirm placement. If something is off, the optician adjusts the frame first, then re-checks the lens position.
