Consult a neurologist for sudden changes in behavior, such as inappropriate touching of objects or "Hyper-orality" (placing objects in the mouth). This syndrome often involves "Visual Agnosia", the eyes see perfectly, but the brain cannot identify what they are looking at. It is often a consequence of Herpes Simplex Encephalitis.
