What Is Blepharochalasis?
Blepharochalasis is a rare condition marked by recurrent episodes of painless eyelid swelling that stretch and thin the skin over time. After repeated flares, the lids can appear wrinkled and lax, sometimes obstructing vision. The condition usually begins in adolescence or early adulthood. Diagnosis is clinical and relies on history of episodic edema.
