What Is Chroma?
In the world of color science, Chroma is a measure of the purity or "strength" of a color. It describes how much a specific hue differs from a neutral gray of the same brightness. A high-chroma color is vivid, intense, and saturated, such as a primary red or neon yellow. A low-chroma color is muted, dull, and closer to gray, such as slate or dusty rose. Chroma is one of the three pillars of color, along with Hue and Value, that allow us to describe every color the human eye can see.
