What Is Bridge Width?
Bridge width is the distance between the two lenses of an eyeglass frame, measured across the area that rests on the nose. It determines how far apart the lenses sit and affects how the glasses fit and feel. The measurement is usually written in millimeters and displayed as the middle number on the inside of the frame arm, such as 52?18 140, where 18 represents the bridge width.
