How Do the Three Medicines in Breztri Aerosphere Work?

Budesonide reduces inflammatory activity through glucocorticoid receptors. Glycopyrrolate blocks muscarinic receptors that cause airway smooth muscle contraction. Formoterol stimulates beta2-adrenergic receptors and relaxes airway smooth muscle. Together, the three components combine anti-inflammatory activity with two different forms of long-acting bronchodilation.
