What Size Inverted Nose Pads Do Your Glasses Need?
Inverted nose pads are nose pads that angle inward toward the nose bridge to help glasses sit more securely and comfortably. Like regular nose pads, they affect how high the frame sits, how evenly the weight rests on the nose, and whether the glasses slide during daily wear. Replacement nose pads are usually measured in millimeters, and sizes generally range from 6 mm to 24 mm.
How inverted nose pads are installed depends on the frame's nose pad mount. Some use tiny screws that attach each pad to a metal pad arm, while others slide or push into a small receiver on the frame. Stick-on pads also exist, but these are usually used for frames without adjustable nose pad arms and may not feel as secure as built-in replacements.
