Boston 7 keeps my eyes hydrated all day long

The Boston 7 is one of the best gas perms on the market. I have been wearing contact lenses for over 30 years, when I started I was wearing PMMA which always scratched my cornea. I went through several gas perms after that but never felt like they really fit my eye, it always felt like I had something in my eye. Finally several years ago my doctor prescribed me these Boston 7 and it was a world of difference. These lenses are so great, my vision is so perfect and I always forget that I have them on.

Boston 7- unparalleled great vision

I have a tough prescription so it's hard to find good contacts at a good price. These Boston lenses are the most comfortable ones I have ever worn. They feel very moist all day long, I no longer have dry eyes and I don't have carry around eye drops. The vision is unparalleled as well. All around a great product.

Product Information

There is something to be said for the tried and true. Soft contact lenses may have made a big name for themselves in recent years, but todayís gas permeable lenses have a lot going for them and deserve a second look. Hard contact lenses may not be the trendy choice in contact lens wear, but they could be more suited to your specific vision correction needs than you think. Rather than being made from a combination of polymer and water, as soft lenses are, gas permeable contact lenses are made from 100 percent polymer.

Boston 7 contact lenses are gas permeable contacts manufactured from a polymer called satafocon A. This polymer is naturally strong, making lenses easy to handle. Their natural strength also cuts down the replacement schedule significantly. In fact, Boston 7 contact lenses typically can be worn for about a year before replacing. With no water content, Boston contact lenses are less likely to harbor bacteria and other eye irritants. This is good news for all eyes, as few deposits means less eye irritation, but for people with allergies or those who struggle with excessive build-up, having a 100 percent polymer lens is even more of an advantage.

Another plus of wearing gas permeable contact lenses is the fact that this type of lens is custom made for the wearer. So, whether you require lenses for nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia, or another eye issue or combination of issues, hard contact lenses are created to work for your needs. A custom made lens results in sharp vision and an exceptional fit. Oxygen is very important to eyes, and the only way our corneas get this necessary oxygen is through the front of the eye. This is why contact lens breathability is so important. A common misconception about hard contact lenses is that they do not allow eyes to breathe. While this assumption may have been true of the original hard lenses, modern gas permeable lenses allow high levels of oxygen to pass through to the eye. Surprisingly they are even more breathable than some soft lenses.

There are many advantages to choosing gas permeable lenses over soft contacts. If youíre looking for a lens with exceptional clarity, durability, and breathability, Boston 7 contact lenses may be worth a try. With a yearly replacement schedule, hard lenses can be a big money saver too and when you shop with Lens.com you can save even more. With hassle-free returns, 100% money-back satisfaction, and quick shipping, you canít go wrong with Lens.com.
