The only way to go
My son had not been able to wear any contacts because of EXTREMELY dry eyes! The last ones he tried, he went through an entire eye drop bottle in just a week! We thought he'd be in glasses for a very long time! When his doctor told us about BIOMEDIC XC contacts, we thought it was at least worth a try. Now he doesn't need any eye drops! It's a blessings seeing him mature into a young adult not having to deal with the 'glasses' issue.
Extremely comfortable lens for tired or dry eyes!
I have worn lenses for many, many years and have tried several different brands. I tend to have dry eyes and occasionally suffer from itchiness related to allergies. I spend an insane amount of time doing computer work and most days by the afternoon my eyes were dry, irritated and bloodshot. I rarely slept with my lenses on but even in the morning my eyes were glowing red. It got to the point that I thought I might never again see the whites of my eyes without going to some incredibly overpriced lens. Then my doctor had me try a sample pair of Biomedics XC contacts and I the releif was immediate! After only one day my eyes felt better, less strained and they weren't red at all! The one negative thing I can comment on is the lenses are very sensitive and using them with the peroxide cleaner tends to weaken them and they usually would tear within a week. I went back to a regular solution with very gentle rubbing and have had great results. I would definately tell anyone who experiences dry contact eyes to sample the Biomedics XC contact lenses and see if they work for you.
