Membership and Eligibility
The Lens.com Refer a Friend Program ("Program") is open to all Lens.com customers, unless prohibited by law. While not restricted to Lens.com customers in the United States of America, the Program is not available in all countries. There is no cost to become a Lens.com Refer a Friend Program Member ("Member") or to maintain Membership. Membership begins when you activate your account at Lens.com.
Lens.com may terminate or modify the Program at any time by posting the changes on Lens.com or by contacting Members directly. Lens.com reserves the right to exclude individuals or restrict eligibility from the Program in its sole discretion. Any abuse of the Program, misrepresentation or any conduct detrimental to the interest of Lens.com may subject Members to membership revocation and will affect eligibility for further participation in the Program.
As a Lens.com Refer a Friend Program Member, you may be eligible to receive referral reward(s) for introducing a friend or family member to Lens.com. To be eligible for a referral reward:
- You must be a Lens.com Refer a Friend Program Member,
- You must refer a friend or family member ("referee") who has never shopped at Lens.com, and
- The referee must sign up to become a Lens.com Refer a Friend Program Member at Lens.com.
Lens.com reserves the right to discontinue, modify, or suspend the Lens.com Refer a Friend Program at any time and for any reason. Lens.com reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of any customer participating in the promotion and to disqualify anyone from receiving the reward if it is determined that the customer has not complied with the rules of the promotion, and/or has provided false or misleading information about his or her identity. Lens.com also reserves the right to refuse issuing any reward to anyone at any time for reasons that Lens.com deems relevant.
Members are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use the Lens.com trademark in connection with the Program. Use of the trademark in Prohibited Conduct, defined below, is outside the scope of this license and is not permitted. Members may not use the Lens.com trademark in any confusing manner. Use of the Lens.com trademark to deceive referees or the general public that Member is affiliated with Lens.com is strictly prohibited. Members are not permitted to make social media pages containing "Lens.com," register domain names containing "Lens.com," or otherwise use the Lens.com trademark in a deceptive or confusing manner.
In order to continue offering this Program to its Members, Lens.com does not permit Members to:
- Purchase advertisements, such as Google Adwords, linking to Lens.com using a referral link; or
- In any way trick or deceive customers into clicking a referral link without their knowledge; or
- Use the Lens.com trademark in a manner not consistent with these Terms and Conditions;
- Sell referral codes or "how-to" guides; or
- Exploit the Program or assist other Members or referees in exploiting the Program.
Members committing any of the above prohibited conduct may, at Lens.com's sole discretion, receive a courtesy notification that they are in violation of the Program's terms and conditions. Repeated or wanton abuse of the Program will result in a Member's disqualification from the program.
Lens.com values your privacy. Your membership information will not be sold or rented to any company outside of Lens.com. In order to maintain your account and improve customer satisfaction, Lens.com may share your membership information with trusted vendors, who have agreed to keep your information confidential. Lens.com may also use membership information to notify you of exclusive offers, promotions, and/or catalogs which may be of interest to you. By participating in the Program, you consent to these terms and conditions. Participation in the Program may be voluntarily terminated upon request by visiting Lens.com.
Lens.com assumes no responsibility for errors caused by incorrect membership information. You are responsible for any taxes, charges and other liabilities relating to or resulting from your participation in the Program.
The Lens.com Refer a Friend Program is void where prohibited by law. These terms and conditions, together with references, make up the entire agreement between you and Lens.com relating to the Lens.com Refer a Friend Program. The interpretation and application of Lens.com Refer a Friend Program terms and conditions are in the sole discretion and determination of Lens.com, and shall be final and conclusive.
The laws of the State of Florida will govern the Lens.com Refer a Friend Program and its terms and conditions. If any legal action arises relating to your use of the Lens.com Refer a Friend Program or its terms and conditions, you agree to file such action only in the state and federal courts located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
